Fulton County Living
The judicial beginning in Fulton County was filled with turmoil. At first, trying to design itself
much like the British courts. Of course, the American Revolution was fought and everything
changed. It is in this time period we can find our first(known at this time) law enforcement. Sheriff
Alexander White. Much hated among  the settlers of the area. A fascinating part of Fulton County
history. Our legal system of today is a spiders web of loop holes and pitfalls. It is a system that
needs much change, but to do so may cause more turmoil.

in Johnstown where hangings did indeed take place.
